Falling ‘n love makes me stupid/Ponchos Collection – this is the ironic title of a performance staged like a fashion show by the Argentinian artist Daniel González (*1963, lives and works in Berlin). Clothes is understood by the artist as a synthesis of the condition of being in lurid and blatant metropolises and at the same time is handling the outcoming collection as a wearable sculpture. Inspired by the typical southamerican piece of clothes, the poncho, as a rebellion of the form and the colour, his artistic hassle is a fight for dreams.
