Negli anni ha esposto, tra i tanti, all’interno della Austin Fashion Week, Texas, 2017; Milano Design Week, Ventura Projects, 2017, 2015 & 2014; Galleria Valentina Bonomo, Roma, 2015; Santo Spirito in Sassia, Roma, 2015; Milano Fashion Week, Marsèll Showroom, 2015; Luminaria Festival, San Antonio, Texas, 2014; Diana Lowenstein Gallery, Miami, 2013; Studio La Città Gallery, Verona, 2013; Manifesta, 2008; Viafarini, Milan, 2006; México Arte Contemporaneo, Mexico City, 2006; Neuer Aachener Kunstverein, Aachen, Germania, 2005; Prague Biennale, 2005.
Il Daniel González D.G.Clothes Project è stato recensito da riviste e testate nazionali e internazionali come Corriere della Sera, SETTE, Il Tempo, La Repubblica, DAMn° Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Russia, Ulisse, Ottagono, Arte, Miami New Times, D di Repubblica, La Prensa e portali web tra i quali Domusweb, Magazine 7, Exibart.com, Artribune.com, Wallstreet International Journal, Noovo Editions, StyleLushTV, Fuorisalone.it, Magazine Efesti Turchia, Observator 13 TV <Romania, Milano Arte Expo, Juliet Art Magazine, Espoarte, Artifakt Polonia, Artslife, Gode Save Design, Huffingtonpost Italia, SoflaNights, Stile.it, Virtual Shoe Museum e GQ Italia.

The artist-run fashion project, D.G.Clothes Project by Argentinean artist Daniel González, opens its first temporary shop in via Ventura, 6, in the heart of the contemporary art neighbourhood Lambrate.
Daniel González receives the Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant in 2017 for the production of embroidered artworks with sequins on canvas. Fashion designer first in the 80s in Argentina with the appealing Pisquit Sunwear brand, he moves then to Berlin and in 2004 establishes the Daniel González D.G.Clothes Project. The Project is the natural development of González’s research applied to fashion and apparel in general. Across categories and style rules, the artist investigates the limits between the Self and the outward look and produces unique pieces as collectible and at the same time wearable artworks.
With this brand, González creates Wearable Sculptures by mixing objects, clothes, shoes, fabrics, accessories and a variety of styles to deliver art to common people in everyday life. Beyond the discourse around fashion, trends and logo, González re-invents, de-construct, re-writes and conceives femininity out of market rules and runway shows deadlines.
Ranked among fifth teen best fashion projects in 2004 by DOMUS magazine, Daniel González D.G.Clothes Project presents its unique collections with performances in art-& design-related locations such as galleries, fairs, museums and festivals. Throughout more than 10 yrs. activity, the Project exhibited in Austin Fashion Week, Texas, 2017; Milano Design Week, Ventura Projects, 2017, 2015 & 2014; Galleria Valentina Bonomo, Rome, 2015; Santo Spirito in Sassia, Rome, 2015; Milano Fashion Week, Marsèll Showroom, 2015; Luminaria Festival, San Antonio, Texas, 2014; Diana Lowenstein Gallery, Miami, 2013; Studio La Città Gallery, Verona, 2013; Manifesta, 2008; Viafarini, Milan, 2006; México Arte Contemporaneo art fair, Mexico City, 2006; Neuer Aachener Kunstverein, Aachen, Germany, 2005; Prague Biennale, 2005.
